After the enormous success of the Roland LX-17 upright piano, the successor has now been released: LX-708
A brand new keyboard with 'haptic-touch vibration', new speakers, brand new piano sounds and much, much more...

The LX708 is the successor of the LX-17 digital upright piano.
It is available in 3 colours including: Charcoal Black, Polished White, Polished Ebony .
So the model names indicate the color: LX-708PE = Polished Ebony, LX708CH = Charcoal Black and LX708PW is Polished White.

Keyboard with Haptic Touch Vibration... HGK-(HTV)
The keyboard of the 708 has been completely renewed. In addition to the great features including 'escapement simulation' / 'Ivory Feel' and 'Graded Hammer Action', something new has now been added: 'Haptic Touch Vibration'. Inspired by the automotive industry, where the touchscreens of the navigation system give a tactile 'click' when touched, Roland uses this technique to simulate a tactile 'string beat'.

The Super-Natural piano sound has been replaced by the 'Pure-Acoustic' modeling with no less than 2 new Grand Piano sounds; the European and American Steinway & Son's grand piano.
All with limitless polyphony of course!

The speakers still have the 'Acoustic projection' technique in which the speakers are positioned in such a way that the sound reaches your ear in the right way and consist in the LX-708 of a 4-way speaker system with 8 speakers in total. The new 'My-Stage' function has also been added, which can simulate an optimal 'environment'.

There is of course also the possibility to connect the Ipad or Tablet via Bluetooth. You can then use the Piano-Designer App or the brand new Piano Everyday App.
You can simply 'stream' your favourite music (i.e. play it wirelessly) over the speakers of your upright piano.
